Yaa Asantewaa Girls' Senior High School is proud to participate in the global campaign, "Orange the World: 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence." From November 25th to December 10th, we will join forces to raise awareness about sexual harassment and promote a culture of respect and safety within our school community.
Our Commitment:
We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student feels empowered to speak out against sexual harassment. Through a series of activities and initiatives, we aim to:
Educate and Empower: Conduct workshops and seminars to educate students and staff about sexual harassment, consent, and healthy relationships.
Promote Awareness: Organize awareness campaigns, including poster contests, social media challenges, and public service announcements.
Encourage Reporting: Establish accessible and confidential reporting mechanisms for students to report incidents of sexual harassment.
Support Survivors: Provide counseling and support services for survivors of sexual harassment.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with parents, community organizations, and law enforcement to create a comprehensive approach to addressing sexual harassment.
Supervisory Team:
Our campaign is led by a dedicated team of professionals:
Mrs. Felicia Asamoah Danquah - Headmistress
Miss Pomaa A Yinkah - School counsellor
Mr. Michael Osei Boakye - Dean of discipline.
We invite all students, staff, and parents to join us in this important endeavor. Together, we can create a safer, more respectful school environment for everyone. Let's Orange the World and End Sexual Harassment at Yaa Asantewaa Girls' Senior High School!
